The Marine Drive: A beautiful destination of Mumbai
The Marine Drive is one of famous tourist destination in
Mumbai. It is C shaped, curved beach and a curved road. It is a 3.5 km long
road along the sea coastline. That’s why, it is called as marine drive. The
real name of this region is called Sonapur. The name of road that runs bhind drive is called as
Nethaji Subash Chandra Bose road. Nethaji Subash Chandra Bose road connects
Nariman Point to the foot of Malabar Hill at Babulnath Marine Drive is also
known as the Queen's Necklace.Cause, if
any one give bird viewed at night from an high point anywhere along the
drive, the street lights resemble with a string of pearls in a necklace.You visit there, You may find black color funnel shaped concrete
structures. These concrete structures or were constructed to protect the
sea beach from strong waves sea .The structure are preferred place to be
use for photography, watching sea and relaxation.
