A Glimpse of Durga Puja Procession and Immersion.

Date: 19-10-2018, Place: Chaibasa,India Dashami- the last day of the Durga Puja Festival (tenth day of festival). The idols of Godess Durga and other deities are immersed either in the river or ponds / lake at the last day of Durga puja festival. Before immersion of idols, the different Dura Puja committee of city and devotees take out a grand procession in street of city, along with dance, traditional music and fire work. Then idol of Goddess Durga and other ditties are immersed in pond/river/lake according to Hindu Vedic rituals.
