The Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan & Zoo situed at Byculla, Mumabai with around 53 Acres. It is one of oldest botanical garden and zoo of india. It is formerly know as Rani Bag (A Garden od Queen) and Victoria Garden during British Empire. The British administration granted  to aggro horticulture society of western, India, for botanical garden in 1835. In mount Estate and bycula,the  new garden was constructed on 33 acres. Then it was known as Victoria Garden. It was publicly open on 19 November 1862 . The botanical garden consist of around 853 plant species and 3000 tree according to local source In this botanical garden, Zoo was added in 1890. The Zoo is habitat of various of  200 animals of 26 species, 450 birds of 45 species like , parrot, monkeys, deer, Penguins,  Nilgai (Boselaphus tragocamelus), Crocodile, Hippopotamus, kite, parrot, pond heron, Black-crowned Night-Heron, military macaw,kingfisher and many more.
